synopsis

Spock is compelled to defy instructions and take the spacecraft after Lieutenant Nunion Singer sends a distress signal. The Enterprise and her crew enter contentious space to assist their shipmates, risking the resumption of hostilities with the Klingons. Additionally, they came across advanced civilizations and new life. Each crew will also experience unique challenges and adversaries.
