synopsis

The Family That Preys tells that Alice Pratt, a diligent Christian woman, raised her two daughters singlehandedly while managing her own diner. Her daughter Andrea, with a snobbish and arrogant demeanor, graduated in Economics and landed a job in a construction corporation. On the other hand, her sister Pam chose to stay with Alice, working alongside her at the diner. Andrea is married to Chris, a construction worker who aspires to start his own business. However, unbeknownst to Chris, Andrea is having an affair with their boss, William Cartwright, who happens to be the son of Alice's wealthy best friend, Charlotte Cartwright. As Alice and Charlotte embark on a road trip together, ambitions and unfaithfulness of William ignite a series of events that deeply influence the dynamics within both families. This chain reaction will have a profound and far-reaching impact on their relationships, testing loyalties, uncovering secrets, and challenging the bonds they once held dear. The road trip becomes a catalyst for transformation and upheaval, forever altering the course of their interconnected lives.
