synopsis

Strange Wilderness tells that after the death of his father, Peter Gaulke becomes the owner of "Strange Wilderness," a TV show centered around wildlife. However, the show faces plummeting ratings and eventual cancellation. Through a series of flashbacks, we witness the journey that led to its downfall. Despite the setback, the studio grants them a final two weeks to revive the show. Inspired by an old friend's story about Bigfoot in Ecuador, Peter, and his team embark on a chaotic road trip filled with obstacles, mishaps, and even fatalities. Along the way, they encounter fierce competition from a well-funded and experienced group of rivals. The race is on to find Bigfoot first and capture it on film to save their show. Amidst the challenges, Peter strives to honor his father's legacy and make him proud.
