synopsis

Along the Somali coast, veteran divers Engel, Mitchell, Hurst, and the newcomer Jones are tasked by Vaxxilon representative Karsen to fix an underwater oil pipeline. Despite being warned of an impending storm, the diving team is sent down in the Diving Support Vessel Lorimer. Despite successfully welding the pipeline, the storm hits and the vessel sinks, killing the entire crew. Struggling with a lack of oxygen, the divers attempt to reach the surface, with leader Mitchell holding out hope for a rescue. But will the oil company dispatch another ship to save them?
