(2002)"The Pianist" is a biographical movie that chronicles the real-life experiences of Wladyslaw Szpilman. As a Jewish pianist working at a radio station in Poland during World War II, he observes the gradual transformation of Warsaw. Eventually, he is compelled to move into the Warsaw Ghetto and separated from his family because of Operation Reinhard. In order to survive the war, Szpilman must flee and hide throughout the ruins of Warsaw until the concentration camp prisoners are eventually liberated.
