synopsis

Wish Upon a Star tells that handsome and kind-hearted high-school athlete Kyle Harding is the common interest shared by the Wheaton sisters. Popular and fashion-conscious Alexia, the older sister, is dating Kyle but fails to truly understand or value him. Meanwhile, nerdy younger sister Hayley envies Alexia's position and makes a thoughtless wish to switch lives. To their surprise, their wish comes true, and they must navigate each other's lives, leading to resentment and intentional sabotage. However, as they realize the potential loss they both face, they begin to appreciate each other's perspectives, reevaluate their own values, and mend their relationship. Amidst the confusion, they also address the feelings of the perplexed Kyle and their new neighbor, Simon, who harbors a secret crush on Hayley that becomes further complicated by Alexia's presence.
