synopsis

The Dressmaker is a 2015 Australia comedy drama directed by Jocelyn Moorhouse and stars Kate Winslet, Judy Davis and Liam Hemsworth. The Dressmaker story is based on the best selling novel by Rosalie Ham. Tilly Dunnage(Kate Winslet) goes back to her small home town in rural Australia to correct her mistakes in the past. This is a stylish black comedy drama about love, revenge and haute couture.
