Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a 2014 superhero film directed by Jonathan Liebesman and written by Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, and Evan Daugherty. Starring Megan Fox, Will Arnett, William Fichtner, Danny Woodburn, and Abby Elliott, the film is also the fifth Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. It is a box office hit as it grossed $493.3 million on a budget of $125-150 million. In addition to the commercial success, the film also received positive reviews critically for visual effects, action scenes, and excellent performances. To continue its glory, the sequel to this film, named Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, premiered in 2016, but the first installment in 2014 is still the highest-grossing film of the series.

The movie is a reboot of the popular franchise in the 1980s, featuring four righteous superhero turtles named Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo, and they have been trained in the art of ninjutsu by their master Splinter, a mutated rat. Living in the sewers of New York City, the turtles decide to protect the city from the evil Foot Clan led by Shredder. In this film, a determined reporter April O'Neil discovers the turtles' existence and becomes involved in their fight against the Foot Clan.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles successfully combined live-action with CGI effects to bring the turtles to life. It highlights the dynamic action scenes, the turtles' acrobatic fighting skills, and their iconic weapons. The audience can explore the turtles' vivid personalities, unique traits, and their deep brotherhood.
