synopsis

Super Size Me tells that a series of legal cases accuse McDonald's of knowingly selling unhealthy food. To investigate, documentarian Morgan Spurlock conducts an unscientific experiment on himself: consuming only McDonald's meals for 30 days, three times a day, including every menu item and supersizing whenever offered. Initially deemed healthy by doctors, he is monitored throughout the experiment. With minimal physical activity and consultations with experts, Spurlock examines the effects of fast food on his health, relationships, and overall well-being. As the experiment progresses, unexpected outcomes challenge both expert opinions and Spurlock's expectations.
