synopsis

Stay Tuned tells that the Knables are facing marital issues as Roy, a lazy plumbing supplies salesman, indulges in excessive TV-watching while his successful wife Helen despises it. In a desperate attempt to reconnect, Helen plans a romantic getaway devoid of TVs, phones, and distractions. But Roy's addiction to the screen proves unbreakable. Frustrated, Helen smashes the family console, inadvertently inviting a mysterious salesman named Spike into their lives. Spike offers Roy a new state-of-the-art satellite TV and remote control as an escape from their troubles. Unbeknownst to Roy, he unwittingly sells his soul to the devil. Helen discovers the truth and as they argue, they are sucked into the "Cable Television World of Hell" with 666 channels. Now, they must survive a series of bizarre TV shows within 24 hours to reclaim their souls. With their children's help, Roy must navigate the treacherous TV world, save his wife from Spike's clutches, and learn that true commitment surpasses the allure of television.
