synopsis

Solomon mainly tells the story of King David's succession to the throne. During a chariot race between David's son Adonijah and Solomon, rivals for the future heir to the throne, the daring Adonijah lost control of his chariot and was seriously injured. Solomon took him back to Jerusalem, and on the way, he met Abishag, a young woman skilled in herbs who successfully cured Adonijah. After that, Adonija fell in love with Abishag, but David's wife Bathsheba arranged her for David, hoping that her medical skills could relieve David's pain.
