synopsis

Prince of Darkness tells that hidden in the depths of an abandoned church in Los Angeles lies a malevolent secret. Following the death of a priest affiliated with an enigmatic sect, another clergyman unlocks the basement door, revealing a vat filled with a mysterious green liquid. Seeking assistance, he enlists a group of physics graduate students to investigate. To their dismay, they uncover that the liquid harbors the essence of Satan, and worse yet, it has the power to unleash an all-mighty Anti-God—Satan's own father. As the liquid takes on a life of its own, transforming some students into zombies, the Devil emerges to liberate his progenitor. Can these students thwart his malevolent plan in time?
