synopsis

In "Open Season", Boog, a contented domestic grizzly bear played by Martin Lawrence, has his idyllic life disrupted when he encounters Elliot, a thin and talkative one-horned wild mule deer portrayed by Ashton Kutcher. The unlikely duo find themselves stranded in the forest during hunting season and must work together to gather the other animals and outsmart the hunters. With their friendship put to the test, Boog and Elliot must use their wits and bravery to survive and find their way back home.
