synopsis

O is a romance movie directed by Tim Blake Nelson and released in 2001. The actors are Mekhi Phifer, Martin Sheen, Josh Hartnett, Andrew Keegan, Julia Stiles. Odin (Mekhi Phifer) is the only black student on campus and with his athletic prowess he joins the school basketball team, which leads the way and eventually qualifies for nationals. Dick (Martin Sheen), the coach of the basketball team, sees great possibilities and a bright future in Odin, which inevitably distracts Dick from his son Hugo (Josh Hartnett), who also plays on the team. This makes Hugo's heart very unhappy. Odin and Daisy (Julia Stiles) have fallen in love, and although the romance is not well received by Daisy's father, he has no choice but to acquiesce to it due to public pressure. Jealousy overtakes Hugo and he vows to do whatever it takes to take everything away from Odin.
