Watch Midsommar
(2019)A couple went to Northern Europe to visit the legendary Swedish Midsummer Festival in a rural hometown. From the idyllic retreat, it quickly evolved into increasingly fierce and bizarre competition at the hands of pagan cults. Dani's sister commits suicide due to mental illness, killing both their parents in the process. Christian, Dani's boyfriend, has actually decided to break up with her, but tragedy and Dani's poor condition have forced him to postpone his plans indefinitely. Christian is not really in love with Danny, he and Danny have lost their passion for each other over the years and are simply too embarrassed to break up, but Christian, who is ready to break up again at the urging of his friends, learns of Danny's loss and has no choice but to continue the relationship, which we can see is already at its end.
