synopsis

Meet Dave mainly tells the story of a spacecraft shaped like a human landing first on Liberty Island. Its crew, made up of tiny, intelligent, and emotionless beings, are searching for a sphere sent from their planet to extract ocean salt that will destroy the Earth. The sphere is owned by a fifth-grade son of a single mother, Josh, whose car collides with the walking alien spaceship and weakens its power. The crew has 48 hours to retrieve the sphere, toss it into the Atlantic, and leave Earth. In two days, the crew experiences chaos and emotional turmoil in New York City.
