synopsis

Macbeth is a Scottish nobleman who is prophesied by three witches that he will become king. Driven by ambition and encouraged by his wife Lady Macbeth, Macbeth murders the king and takes the throne, but his guilt and fear of losing power lead to more bloodshed and eventually his downfall. The film portrays Macbeth's descent into tyranny and madness as he tries to maintain his power and avoid the consequences of his actions.
