synopsis

Josie and the Pussycats tells that for years, the music industry has been secretly implanting subliminal messages into popular songs, manipulating impressionable teenagers into mindless consumerism. Whenever an artist uncovers the truth, the record companies go to great lengths to silence them and suppress the revelation. When the successful boy band DuJour stumbles upon this sinister plot, their manipulative manager Wyatt Frame, acting under the orders of his corrupt boss Fiona, orchestrates a plane crash to eliminate them. Now, seeking fresh talent to further their evil schemes, Wyatt sets his sights on Josie, Melody, and Valerie, a determined yet undiscovered band known as Josie and the Pussycats. Seduced by the allure of fame, Josie and her friends succumb to the industry's influence and skyrocket to stardom. But as they bask in the limelight, they begin to question their true purpose. Will they uncover the dark secrets behind their newfound success and reclaim their independence, or will the temptations of fame consume them entirely?
