synopsis

Disaster Movie mainly tells the story of a young man named Will (played by Matt Lanter), who awakens from a nightmare that includes various movie plots and celebrity cameos, and realizes that the day is the date of his dream's prophesized doomsday: August 29th, 2008. Will is unsure of his relationship with his girlfriend Amy (played by Vanessa Minnillo), who leaves him in anger. To make amends, the 25-year-old Will throws a sweet-16 party for himself, which turns into a crazy parody movie frenzy. When disaster strikes the city with earthquakes and meteor showers, Will and Amy get separated in the chaos. To rescue her and save their relationship, Will, along with his friend Calvin and pregnant Juney, embark on a journey to the museum. Along the way, various heroes like the Incredible Hulk and Iron Man are unable to combat the disaster, and Will's team defeats characters like the Sex and the City ladies and the Prince from Enchanted in their crazed journey to the museum.
