synopsis

Curtains tells that Samantha Sherwood, a frequent collaborator of director Jonathan Stryker, expects to be cast in the lead role of his latest film, Audra. However, Stryker tricks her into researching the part by having her committed to a psychiatric asylum. Unaware of his true intentions to replace her, Samantha plays along until she realizes she's being held indefinitely. She escapes and returns to the eerie mansion where auditions are taking place, only to encounter mysterious disappearances among the aspiring actresses. Suspicion falls on Samantha, Stryker, and the actresses themselves as they vie for the coveted role. The identity of the killer behind the old-hag mask remains a chilling mystery.
