synopsis

In the year 2270, Earth is no longer inhabited and those with wealth have moved to Rhea. The majority of the population lives in space stations. Dr. Laura Portmann joins a cargo ship, the Kassandra, for an eight-year journey to Station 42 near RH278 to save up and meet her sister Arianne on Rhea. A Sky Marshall is added to the crew due to the threat of the terrorist group, Luddites. The crew takes turns with cryogenic sleep and work shifts. However, when Laura discovers a stowaway on the ship and learns that her sister's message took only 20 minutes to reach her, she begins to uncover the truth about the cargo and the true destination of the Kassandra.
