synopsis

This movie is based on a true story about a wealthy woman and her spouse who reside in a large estate, surrounded by a variety of animals, including chimpanzees whom she raises as her own children. Upon discovering a sick baby gorilla, she decides to care for it as well. The years go by and the gorilla grows to its full size, exhibiting occasional fits of uncontrollable strength. Despite its power, it shows love and obedience towards its caretaker. However, all of that changes when she is invited to showcase the gorilla and chimps at the Chicago World's Fair. During the event, the gorilla is accidentally set free by one of the chimps and causes chaos at the Fair. This leads to the gorilla becoming increasingly unpredictable and aggressive, eventually leading to an attack on its caretaker.
