synopsis

Avatar tells that a paraplegic Marine was sent to Pandora on the moon to perform a unique mission. He was in a dilemma between carrying out orders and protecting the world he thought was his home. Wounded in battle and paralyzed in the lower body, former Navy soldier Jack Sully (Sam Worthington) decides to come to Pandora for his dead compatriot brother to manipulate the "avatar" created by Dr. Grace (Sigourney Weaver) using human genes combined with those of the local Naami tribe " hybrid creatures. Jack aims to infiltrate the Nami tribe and diplomatically convince them to voluntarily leave their home, where they have lived for generations so that SecFor can cut down the region's virgin forests. In the course of his exploration of Pandora, Jack meets Nadiri (Zoe Saldana), the princess of the Nami tribe, and learns from her about Nami's survival skills and attitude towards nature.
