In the deep forest, the vampire Dracula owns an old castle, Hotel Transylvania (Adam Sandler). Unlike the traditional evil blood-drinking images of vampires, Dracula in this film does not feed on human blood and is not as wicked as in other movies about vampires. Instead, he is a patient and loving father, nursing his only daughter Mavis after the death of his wife, Martha. To protect Mavis from the harm of human beings, Dracula keeps telling her scary stories about human beings so that she would keep her distance from them. On Mavis's 118th birthday, Mavis goes to see a nearby human village. It turns out the village is not an authentic human village but is faked by Dracula in his endeavor to protect her. Mavis does not know the truth but is shocked by what happens in the village and flies back to the hotel unhappily. Dracula comforts Mavis, pretending to be appalled at what she has experienced. Just as he returns to the lobby, he notices a human named Johnny entering the hotel. He tries to hide and avoid attracting other monsters' attention. Ethan (Matthew Knight), a teenager who can see visions through touch, stays at home with his sister Jane. His parents have hired a babysitter, a girl from Ethan's high school Erica, who is a vampire and drinks human blood. During a fight between Sarah and Jesse, Sarah tells Ethan's parents that she was asked to babysit instead. When Ethan and his friend Benny follow Sarah, they notice that she is feeding on a rat and realize she is a vampire. Sarah quickly tells them that she does not feed on human blood. Ethan, Benny, and Sarah then battle the vampires they encounter at the party and escape. Benny's grandmother, who reveals that she is an Earth Priestess, gives Ethan, Benny, and Sarah enchanted daggers and a spellbook to defeat the vampires. She tells them that Ethan is a Seer, enabling him to see visions through touch, and Benny is a spell master, allowing him to cast spells. At the theater, the vampires begin to steal the souls of the teens but are thwarted by Ethan, Benny, and Sarah. Jesse escapes, and Ethan and Benny follow in pursuit. Edward takes Bella home and shows her his power as a vampire. When they and Edward’s family play vampire baseball, another evil vampire James appears and notices Bella as a human. Edward can read minds and knows that James wants to kill Bella and won’t give up until he has killed her. Bella and all of the Cullens devise a plan to get her to safety while also protecting her family—taking her to Phoenix. There James tricks Bella and almost kills her, but the other vampires arrive in time, and Edward saves her. After that, Bella tells Edward that she wants him to change her into a vampire so that she can be with him forever, but he does not want to take her life as she has the chance to be with her family.

The story starts with Dracula's desperate desire to find the secret of Frankenstein's Monster because he can use it to bring his countless offspring with his vampire brides to life. Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman) is a professional vampire-hunter with a Phantom of the Opera hat who picks up a dedicated friar Carl (David Wenham), as his sidekick. On their way to kill Dracula, they meet the beautiful Anna Valerious (Kate Beckinsale) and her brother Velkan (Will Kemp), the offspring of the family determined to kill Dracula. Otherwise, they will never find peace. Dracula manages to catch Anna and wants her to be his vampire bride. The stubborn girl Anna fights against him, which annoys the vampire. 5. Bram Stoker's Dracula

Dracula (1992) is one of the most classic in 90s vampire movies and 80s vampire movies, which Francis Ford Coppola directs. Based on the adaption of Bram Stoker's novel Dracula, the most outstanding literary work about vampire legends, the film portrays how Dracula wins his love back after about four hundred years. 


Dracula was not born a vampire but chose to be transformed into one. He used to fight in a war with Turk and won the battle. When he returned home, he only to find the corpse of his wife, who drowned herself as rumors had it that Dracula was already dead in the war. The priest informed Dracula that his wife's soul could not go to heaven according to Christianity as she committed suicide. He questioned God with rage why he encountered this as he had devoted his life to the war and stabbed Jesus on the cross, which was drenched with blood. Having drunk the blood, Dracula turned him into an immortal vampire. Four hundred years later, a young solicitor's assistant, Jonathan Harker, visits Castle Dracula and meets with Count Dracula, who takes the name of Carfax and has bought an estate in London. In the castle, Harker realizes that he might have been imprisoned and tries to escape. Harker escapes from the castle through his window and brings his journal to reveal his experiences to his fiancée Mina.


On the street, Dracula finds Mina resembles his wife and eventually confirms it. Mina is bitten by Dracula and is forced to drink Dracula's blood so that Mina will be a vampire. Van Helsing and other man takes the trip to locate Dracula with the help of hypnotized Mina. The group intercepts Dracula on his way to the castle. However, Harker and Morris stab Dracula in the heart and cut off his head as he sleeps in his final box, thus truly killing him—freeing his soul from his Un-Dead body.

On a rainy night, two black-garbed Vampires, Selene and Rigel, known as Death Dealers, track a pair of Lycans walking on the street below. In the gunfight, Selene learns that the Lycans may have been following a human, Michael Corvin, unaware of his connection with the wolf. Selene secretly continues her investigation about why the Lycans were chasing a human. As she breaks into Michael's apartment, she finds a vampire has bitten Michael on the shoulder. She helps him escape as Selene discovers that the powerful vampire Lycan is still alive. She awakens a powerful Vampire Elder named Viktor, whom she trusts and believes will help her. Viktor condemns Selene that she is awakening him ahead of schedule. Selene flees to Michael, but a shootout causes her to become distracted, allowing the Lycans to kidnap Michael. He learns through Lucian's memories that Viktor killed Lucian's Vampire bride, Sonja, to prevent the mingling of the two bloodlines, which led to war. Before he dies, Michael is transformed into a Lycan/Vampire Hybrid. In the end, Selene and Michael leave the Lycan lair together, intending to escape the remaining Death Dealers.

Lestat, an evil vampire, transforms Louis into a vampire and teaches him how to live as one. He tells Louis that some vampires can develop the capacity to read the thoughts of others. Louis is not willing to drink human blood in the beginning, but his desire for blood drives him to have his servant killed. He decides to burn himself with the house, but Lestat rescues him, and they flee to other places. On their journey, Louis saves a poor girl, Claudiawhose parents are already dead. But he could not resist the temptation to bite her, so he drank her blood. A feeling of remorse stops him from continuing, and he hides her body and leaves. When Lestat finds that Louis has drunk the girl's blood, he transforms her into a vampire. The three forms a special family of vampire in their way of living.


Hating what Lestat does to her, Claudia asks Louis to help her kill him so they can get rid of him and live their way. After some happy time with Claudia, Louis meets another powerful vampire, Santiago, and Armand. He is invited to the London theatre, where he finds a group of vampires living the very different ways than he does. There he is sealed by a metal coffin. When freed by Armand the next night, he learns Claudia and Madeleine have been turned to ash by the sun. He takes revenge for them by burning the whole coffins of the vampires while they are sleeping. Armand asks Louis to be with him, but he refuses his offer and sets on her journey.

They two decide to recreate the cure and maintain the human species. However, when a vampire named Frankie bites Cormac out of his instinct, he is turned into a human. They understand that Cormac’s blood turns Frankie human, revealing that the sunlight cure is unnecessary. Frankie sacrifices himself to the vampire soldiers, helping Edward and Audrey escape.

With the help of Nick’s friend Stu, a computer analyst, they use modern technology. Nick is not accustomed to life as a vampire and is held in contempt by Deacona. One day, a vampire hunter breaks into the flat basement during the day and kills Petyr by exposing him to sunlight. Several months later, the vampires receive an invitation to the annual Unholy Masquerade, where other vampires hunt Stu as he is a human and wants to feed on his blood. Stu survives that night and is transformed into a werewolf.

Marlow orders the vampires not to turn anyone into a vampire; they will slaughter the town and then disappear to preserve modern humanity's belief that vampires are the stuff of bad dreams and nothing more.
