synopsis

Gintama live action movie story happens where aliens take control of Edo period Japan. The story follows Gintoki, a samurai who runs a business called Odd Jobs, and his friends Shinpachi Shimura and Kagura as they take on various jobs and missions to make ends meet. When the Shogun orders Odd Jobs to find the alien terrorists who have been terrorizing the city, Gintoki and his friends must come together to save Edo and restore peace to the land.
