synopsis

Edward, a sensitive and shy robot, lives alone in a mysterious old castle. The scientist who created him died while preparing to give him the final process, and although Edward has both human feelings and complete flesh and blood, he does not have a complete pair of hands, and what he does have is a pair of metal scissor hands. The kind salesman Peg found him and brought him home. Edward fell in love with Peg's beautiful daughter Kim, but eventually, because he did not belong to the world after all, he returned to the old castle, only to express his love with a crystal ice sculpture.
